Alu - Gobi Masala (Alu- Gobi Curry)


Onion ---1 medium
Tomato---1 medium
Cauliflower pieces-----1 cup
Potato---1 medium
Coriander powder -----1 tsp
Cumin powder---1 tsp
Garam Masala --1/2 tsp
Red chili powder---1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder---1 tsp


Oil--------1 tsp
Ghee----1 tsp
Cumin seeds---1/2 tsp
Cinnamon----1/2 inch
Ginger garlic paste----1 tsp


1.Chop Onions, Potatos,Cauliflower into pieces.

2.In a pan, heat oil and ghee together. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon pieces, garlic paste.

3.Add chopped onions and fry till onions turn into to golden brown color. Add little salt to get onions cook faster.

4.Add tomatoes and fry for a while. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.

5.Add chopped Potatoes and Cauliflower pieces and mix well with all the masalas. Add enough salt for the curry.

6.Cover with lid. Add very little water to avoid the curry getting burnt. Wait until all the vegetables are cooked.

7.Once all the vegetables are cooked, sprinkle with coriander leaves.

Alu Gobi Masala is ready. Eat with roti or chapathis or zeera rice.
