Capsicum Veg Curry


Capsicum -----3
Carrot ------2
Green peas --1/4 cup
Pea nuts -----1/4 cup
Sesame seeds-----1/4 cup
Coriander powder—1/4 tsp
Cumin powder--------1/4 tsp
Coconut powder----2 tsp
Cashew nuts-----10
Seasoning items-----1/4 tsp each
(Urad dal,Channa dal,Mustard seeds,Cumin seeds)
Cardamom -----2
Cinnamon-----2 pieces
Cloves -------2


1.Dry fry peanuts, sesame seeds separately. Grind to powder.

2.Chop Carrots, capsicum and potatos into small pieces.

3.In a pan, heat 3 tsp of oil and prepare seasoning with all the seasoning items, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves.

4.When mustard seeds splatters, add asafoetida and potato pieces.

5.Once the potatos are half cooked, add carrot, capsicum and green peas. Mix well and cover with a lid.

6.Once all the vegetables are cooked, add peanut powder, sesame seed powder, red chilli powder, coconut powder, coriander powder,cumin powder and enough salt. Mix well and let curry cook for a while.

7.Add coriander leaves, curry leaves, and cashew nuts. Turn off the flame.

Capsicum vegetable curry is ready. It tastes good with rice and chapathis.
