Grated Carrot Curry


Grated Carrot ------ 2cups
Green chillis ---------2
Coriander leaves -----2 strings
Turmeric powder ----Pinch
Asafoetida -----------Pinch
Seasoning Items ----1/2 tsp each
(Urad dal,Channa dal, Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds)


1.In a pan, take 2 tsp of oil and make seasoning with all the seasoning items. Add turmeric powder and asafetida as well.

2.When the mustard seeds splatters, add grated carrot, chopped green chillis and salt. Mix well.

3.Cover with a lid, so that curry can cook fast.

4.Once the carrot is well cooked, mix the curry well again so that all the curry gets uniform taste.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Healthy – Tasty carrot curry is ready.

Tip Carrot is very good source of Vitamin-A. Very good for eye sight. As it is sweet in taste, kids do enjoy.
