Masala Vada/Mixed dal vada


Channa dal ---1 cup
Urad dal ---- ¼ cup
Moong dal --- ¼ cup
Ginger----- small piece
Coriander leaves --- 2 strings
Curry leaves ---- 2 strings
Mint leaves ----2 strings
Onion ----1
Salt ----enough for taste
Oil ---For frying


1.In a bowl mix channa dal, urad dal, moong dal all together and soak for 3 to 4 hours.

2.Grind the soaked ingredients to a rough paste.

3.Transfer the grounded batter into a vessel.

4.Mix finely chopped onions into the batter.

5.Mix grounded paste of ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves into the batter.

6.Add asafoetida too.

7.Add enough salt for taste.

8.Mix all the ingredients well and keep it ready.

9.Heat the oil on a medium flame

10.Take small amount of batter on a plastic paper and make it in circular shape.

11.Transfer the vada into the hot oil very gently and carefully.

12.Fry the vada on both sides to golden brown color and transfer to a plate.

Tasty Masala vada is ready.
