Potato Ginger Chilli Curry


Potatoes --- 3 big
Ginger – 1 inch
Green chillis – 3 to 5
Lemon – 1
Curry leaves – 1 string
Coriander leaves – 2 strings
Oil – 1 Tsp
Seasoning items –¼ sp each
(Channa dal,Urad dal,Cumin seeds, Mustard seeds,Asafoetida)
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Salt --- enough


1.Boil potatoes and take out peal. Make small pieces and keep aside.

2.Grind ginger, green chllis and one coriander string into fine paste.

3.In a pan heat oil and prepare seasoning with seasoning ingredients.

4.Add boiled potato pieces and grounded ginger chilli paste.

5.Add turmeric powder and enough salt and mix well.

6.Cover with lid, let all the ingredient flavors mix up.

7.Add curry leaves and lemon juice. And mix well.

8.Garnish with coriander leaves.

Very Delicious Curry is ready. Eat with roti or hot rice.

Note: You can add onion upon your interest.
