Spring Onion Pulusu/ Spring Onion Sambar


Spring Onions---2 bunches
Pulusu podi ----1 Tsp
Tamarind pulp----1 tsp
Turmeric powder---1/4 tsp
Seasoning items---1/4 tsp
(Channa dal, urad dal, Cumin seeds,Mustard seeds, Asafoetida)
Jaggery---1 tsp
Coriander leaves---2 strings
Curry leaves----5

Pulusu Podi – Procedure:

Channa dal- 2 tsp
Urad dal—2 tsp
Red chillis-5
Curry leaves- 2

Fry with little oil and grind to powder.

Spring Onion Pulusu Procedure:

1.Chop spring onions into small circle pieces and keep aside.

2.In a pan, heat 2 tsp of oil and prepare seasoning.

3.Add chopped spring onions and cook well with closed lid.

4.Add water and boil.

5.Add tamarind pulp, turmeric powder, curry leaves, coriander leaves, pulusu podi, salt.

6.Bring to boil and add little jaggery.

Spring Onion pulusu is ready.
