Tindora Fry


Tindora --------- 1 lb
Onion-----1 big
Red chilli powder---1 tsp
Turmeric powder--1/2 tsp

Oil------1 Tsp
Channa dal ---1/4 tsp
Urad dal----1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds----1/4 tsp


1.Wash tindora and make into long pieces.

2.Boil tindora in pressure cooker or separately and keep aside.

3.Chop onions into long pieces.

4.In a pan, prepare seasoning with all the seasoning items.

5.Add chopped onions and fry till onions turn to golden brown color.

6.Add boiled tindora, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well.

7.Cover with a lid and let all the curry cook together for 5 minutes.

8.Add curry leaves and turn off the flame.

Tindora fry is ready. Eat with hot rice and ghee.
