Black Eyed Beans Curry


Black eyed beans – 1 cup
Capsicum ---1
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Ginger ---1 inch
Green Chillis – 2
Oil --- 2 Tsp
Seasoning items – ¼ tsp
(Channa dal, Urad dal, Cumin seeds, mustard seeds)


1.Soak black-eyed beans for 3 hours.

2.Pressure cook for 1 whistle.

3.In a pan heat little oil and prepare seasoning with all the seasoning ingredients.

4.Add boiled black eyed beans, chopped capsicum, chopped ginger and chopped chillis.

5.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt.

6.Cover with lid until capsicum is cooked.

7.Sprinkle with coriander leaves.

Yummy Black-eyed beans curry is ready. Eat with chapathis.
