Cabbage Potato Curry

Ingredients:

Cabbage -----1 small
Potato ---2
Green chillis ----3
Ginger ----1/2 inch
Moong dal ---3 tsp
Red chilli powder ---1/2 tsp
Cumin powder ---1/4 tsp
Salt –enough
Seasoning items--1/4 tsp each
(Urad dal,channa dal, mustard seeds,cumin seeds)
Asafoetida ----Pinch

Procedure:

1.Chop cabbage, potato, ginger and green chillis into small pieces.

2.In a pan, heat 2 or 3 tsp of oil and prepare seasoning with all seasoning items.

3.When mustard seeds splatters, add asafoetida, chopped cabbage, potato, green chillis and ginger pieces.

4.Once cabbage and potatoes are well cooked, add red chilli powder, cumin powder and salt.

5.Add chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves and turn off the stove.

Cabbage - potato curry is ready. Eat with rice or roti.
