Palak Paneer


Spinach ---- 1 bunch
Paneer ----1/2 cup
Green Chilli—2
Ginger Garlic Paste--1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds ---1/2 tsp
Cinnamon----2 pieces
Cardamom -----3
Kasuri Methi---1/4 tsp (Dry methi leaves) Turmeric powder----1/4 tsp
Garam Masala---1/4 tsp
Coriander powder---1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds---1/4 tsp
Red Chilli powder---1/4tsp Wipped Cream ---3 tsp (optional)
Oil-----4 Tsp

Paneer Procedure:

1.Boil 2 cups of milk. Then add 1 tsp of lemon juice.

2.Milk will separate the water.

3.Squeeze out all the water with transparent clean cloth.(No water should remain)

4.Place the custard milk in a plate tightly and cut into pieces.

5.Keep these paneer pieces in deep fridge for 4 hours. Paneer is ready.

Palak Paneer Procedure:

1.Immerse spinach leaves in water and bring to boil. Do not cover with lid. (spinach will change green to black color, if you cover with lid)

2.Drain all the water and grind spinach leaves to the paste.

3.Chop onions, tomatoes and green chillis into small pieces.

4.In a pan heat 4 tsp of oil and add cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and kasoori methi leaves.

5.Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a while.

6.Add chopped onions and fry till golden brown color in medium flame.

7.Add tomato and green chilli pieces and fry well.

8.Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and mix well.

9.Add grounded spinach paste and mix well.

10.Add paneer pieces, garam masala and let cook for 2 minutes.

11.Add cream and mix well. Turn off the flame.

Delicious Palak Paneer is ready. Eat along with Rice or Naan.
