Wheat Flour Chegodi / Atta Chegodi

Ingredients:

Wheat Flour / Atta ---- 1cup
Rice flour ----- 1 cup
Daliya ------ 2 Tsp
Coconut powder ---- 2 Tsp
Asafoetida ------1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder---1/2 tsp
Sesame seeds --- 2tsp
Salt ---- enough
Oil ----1 Tsp
Oil----- 2 cups ( for frying)

Procedure:

1.Grind daliya to powder.
2.Mix atta, rice flour, daliya powder, asafoetida, salt and red chilli powder and add 2 Tsp of oil to it and mix well.
3.Add little by little water to the mixed flour and prepare lik a chapathi dough

4.Let the dough soak for 30 minutes, undisturbed.

5.Make small balls out of the dough.

6.Keep the dough on a chapathi stand.

7.Apply little oil to the hand and roll the dough and make it like a long stick.

8.Then twist the dough in a spiral way and prepare chegodi.

9.Like below photo prepare all the chegodis

10.Heat the oil and slowly fry the prepared chegodi, very carefully.(Fry them on a medium flame, so that inside the chegodi also get cooked. Otherwise, they will be soft as the inside will not get cooked)


Tasty Atta chegodi/Wheat chegodi is ready.
