Ginger Chuney (Allam Pachadi)

Ingredients: 

Ginger ------------ Lemon size (50 grams)
tamarind----------Lemon Size(50 grams)
Dry red chillis ----10
Jaggery ---------- small piece
Urad dal ------------3 Tsp
Channa dal ---------3Tsp
Salt-------------------enough
Asafoetida (Hing)--- Pinch
Mustard seeds ---------1/4 tsp
Curry leaves -------5 to 7

Procedure:.

1.Fry Urad dal, channa dal, red chilis in ½ tsp of oil.
2.Fry ginger  in ½ tsp of oil and keep aside.
3.Soak tamarind for 15 minutes and  squeeze the juice separately.
4.Tamarind should be little more than ginger.
5.In a Mixi, Grind Urad dal, Channa dal, Red chillis, fried ginger, jaggery and salt
6.Mix tamarind paste to the grounded mixture and grind to smooth paste.
7.In a pan prepare seasoning with  little oil, mustard seeds, Asafoetida and curry leaves.
8.Mix grounded ginger chutney and seasoning together.
Tasty Ginger chutney is ready. This chutney goes well with hot rice, idli and pesarattu.
