Bisi Uppina Kaaya (Hot mango pickle)

Procedure:
1.Wash mango and pat dry well. Cut mango into big pieces.
2.Dry roast methi seeds ( fenugreek seeds)
3.Grind mustard seeds and roasted methi seeds.
4.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
5.When the mustard seeds splatters, add asafoetida, turmeric powder, chopped mango pieces and mix well. Cover with a lid.
6.Once the mango pieces are cooked and soften, add grounded mustard-methi powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well.
Very tasty Bisi uppina kaya ( hot mango pickle) is ready. Mix with hot rice and eat.
