LadyFingerChutney(Bendakaya Pachadi/Bindi Chutney)

 

Ingredients:

Lady Fingers ---- ¼ kg

Green chillis ---5

Tamarind paste –1 tsp

Seasoning items----1/4 tsp each

( Mustard seeds, Urad dal, Channa dal)


Procedure:

1. Wash lady fingers, chop into small pieces and keep aside.

2. In a pan, heat 3 tsp of oil and fry chopped lady fingers to light brown color.

3. Fry chopped green chillis as well and keep aside.

4. Grind the fried lady fingers, green chillis, salt and tamarind paste to coarse paste.(Better use hand-stone grinder or hand mixer than electric grinder).

5. Prepare seasoning with seasoning ingredients and add the grounded lady finger chutney to it. Mix well until all the ingredients are mixed-up.

Tasty Lady finger chutney is ready. Eat with hot rice.

Note: Avoid electric grinder for this Chutney. It tastes good with hand mixer.
