Alu - Methi Curry

Methi leaves----1bunch
Potatoes ---2
Red chilli powder----1/2 tsp
Salt----enough
Seasoning itmes--1/4 tsp
Urad dal,
channa dal ,
mustard seeds,
cumin seeds,
Asafoetida

Procedure:

1.Wash thoroughly Methi leaves and potatoes. Take out the peal to potatoes and chop potatoes and methi leaves into small pieces.

2.In a pan heat 2 to 3 tsp of oil and prepare seasoning with seasoning items.

3.Once the mustard seeds splatters, add asafoetida  potato pieces.

4.Wait till potatoes are half cooked and add chopped methi leaves and mix well. Cover with a lid.

5.Once the methi leaves and potatoes are well cooked, add  red chilli powder and salt. Mix well and cover with lid.

6.Garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves and turn off the flame.

Alu – Methi curry is ready. This curry tastes good with rice and chapathis.
