Spinach Daal with onion

Ingredients: Palak / Spinach --- 1 bunch. |
Procedure:
1.Wash and clean toor dal. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
2.Wash and clean spinach / palak. Chop into fine pieces.
3.Chop green chillis, onion and garlic.
4.In a pan, prepare seasoning, add chopped spinach.onions, garlic and green chilis. Cover with a lid. Wait till spinach and onion cook well.
5.Add cooked daal to the spinach mix and mix well, so that flavors mix uniformly.
6.Add salt and turmeric powder. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
Spinach daal is ready. It goes well with hot rice or rotis.
Tip:Spinach is good source of calcium. It helps while constipation.
Spinach and Tomato combination is not good for health.It causes kidney stones.So, please avoid tomato while cooking Spinach daal.
