Bombay chutney /Saagu

Procedure:
1.Chop onions, tomatoes, green chillis into long pieces and keep aside.
2.Heat 3 tsp of oil in a pan and fry all the seasoning ingredients until mustard seeds splatters. Add Turmeric powder.
3.Add chopped potatoes and fry for a while.

4.Add chopped onions and fry together until potatoes get softer..

5.Add tomato pieces (once after onions are cooked) and mix well.

6.Add chopped green chillis.

7.Mix water and besan in a small bowl (gravy consistency) and add to the curry.

8.If the curry becomes too thick, add little water.
9.Add salt and mix well and let it cook for 3 more minutes.
10.Add curry leaves and coriander leaves and let cook for a minute and turn off the stove.

Very tasty Bombay chutney / Saagu is ready. Eat with roti / Chapati / Parata and enjoy.
