Onion Rice(Thiragamatha Annam)

Ingredients:

Rice    --- 2 cup
Onion  --- 1 Medium size
Ginger --- 1 Inch
Curry leaves -- 4-5 leaves
Coriander leaves -- 4-5 leaves
Green chillis --- 3
Salt     --- Enough
Turmeric powder---1/4 spoon

Seasoning Items:
Oil        --- 2Table spoons
Dry red chillis --- 2
Urad dal --- 1/4 tsp
Channa dal --- 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds --- 1/4 tsp

Procedure:

1. Cook the rice and keep aside.
2. Take a pan and make seasoning with the above mentioned seasoning items.
3. When the mustad seeds splatters, add the cut onion, ginger and green chilis pieces.
4. fry nicely until the onions are wll cooked.
5. Add curry leaves, coriander leaves and enough salt and mix well.
6. Add Turmeric powder and cooked rice. Mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.

Very simple to make onion rice is ready to eat.

Note: You can make this rice, with left over rice as well.
