Semiya Pulihora (Vermicilli Pulihora)

 

 

Ingredients:

Vermicili ---- 1cup
Peanuts ------1/2 cup
Green chilis ----4
Ginger --------1/2 inch
Curry leaves – 5 to 10
Turmeric powder ----- pinch
Cashew nuts -  10 to 15
Oil ------- 1 Tsp
Salt ----enough
Lemon juice ----2 Tsp

Seasoning Items:
Urad dal, channa dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds..

Procedure:

1.Fry peanuts and keep aside.
2.Fry cashewnuts in ghee and keep aside.
3.Chop ginger, green chilis and curry leaves and keep aside.
4.In a  bowl, boil vermicelli in water, add salt, turmeric powder.
5.Once the vermicelli is boiled, drain all the water.
6.In a pan, prepare seasoning with all the seasoning items and little oil.
7.Once the seasoning is ready, chopped chilis, ginger  boiled vermicelli, peanuts, cashew nuts and  lemon juice and mix everything together.
8.Add salt, if you feel salt is less.
9.Garnish with coriander leaves.

Vermicili pulihora is ready.
