Gongura (Sorrel leaves) Pulihora

Ingredients: Rice ---2 cups |
Procedure:
1.Wash and boil the rice in rice cooker. ( 2 cusp rice – 4 cups water).
2.Dry the rice in a big bowl and add turmeric powder.

3.Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan, add Urad dal,channa dal,mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chillis, sesame seeds,fenugreekseeds.Fry everything to golden brown color and keep aside.

4.In the same pan heat 2 tsp of oil and fry Gongura leaves.

5.Grind the fried ingredients along with gongura leaves. ( do not grind very pasty, leave it little coarse)

6. In a pan heat 2 tsp of oil, add urad dal, mustard seeds, channa dal, cumin seeds, pea nuts, cashew nuts, asafoetida, chopped green chillis, curry leaves and dry red chillis.

7.Fry everything to golden brown color.

8. Add all the gried seasoning to the rice.
9. Add grounded gongura mix to rice

10. Add salt and mix well.

Tasty Gongura Pulihora is ready.You can eat wirth chips/fries/goldfingers/vadiyaalu
