Ingredients: Besan -----1 cup |
Procedure:
1.Mix ghee and dalda in a vessel and heat it until they both mix up well.
2.Apply little ghee to a plate and keep it aside.
3.Add one tsp of ghee to besan and fry till the raw smell is gone.
4.Take sugar in a pan and put water until the sugar is immersed and heat it until the sugar is melted totally.
5.Meanwhile mix dalda and ghee together in a bowl and heat it in low flame so that they both melt and mix together.
6.Then add fried besan little by little to the sugar syrup, making sure there are no lumps.
7.Keep adding little by little dalda-ghee mix to the besan and keep stirring.
8.Besan keep absorbing the dalda-ghee. Add little baking powder.
9.Keep stirring the besan.
10.When the besan rotates like a ball, not sticking to the wall of pan, remove immediately from flame and place on a greased plate..

11.Once the mysore pak settled on greased plate, cut it into diamond shape pieces.

12.Once Mysorepak coolsdown, make the plate upside down on different plate and separate Mysorepak pieces.
Delicious Mysorepak are ready to eat.
Tip: Channa dal or flour of it gives strength. It is good for lungs, kidneys and liver. If you eat more, it causes indigestion too. So, enjoy with limited quantities.
