Jack Fruit Shape Sweet (Panasa Thonalu)

Ingredients: All Purpose Flour --------- 1 cup |
Procedure:
1.Mix dalda, baking powder and water and mix well to puri dough consistency. Leave it for 30 minutes.
2.Take sugar in a pan and pour water until the sugar is totally immersed and boil it to one string consistency syrup.
3.Mix some cardamom powder into the syrup and trun off the flame.
4.Make small puris with allpurpose dough.
5.Make 4 or 5 cuts in the center of puri. Do not make the cuts reaches the any edge of the puri.
6.So that the cuts looks like perfect jack fruit.
7.Now, roll the puri into a tube kind and press the edges separately.
8.Now fry these jack fruit kinds in oil .
9.The bulge little bit in the oil and looks like perfect jack fruits. Fry them to golden brown color.
10.Place them in sugar syrup.
11.Wait for few minutes until these jackfruits get the syrup well and take out and arrange in a plate very gently.
12.You can store them in airtight box, for 10 days.
Delicious Jack Fruit Sweets are ready.
Hint: Borneo-Camphor gives good fragrance to the sweets and also reduces the sweating odor if you eat with Beatle leaves.
