Almond Burphy(Baadam Burphy )

Ingredients:
(for 10 pieces)

Almonds ---------- 1 cup

Sugar ---------------1 cup

Milk ----------------1/4 cup

Ghee ---------------1/2 cup

Cardamom powder--- ½ tsp


Procedure:

1.Soak almonds for 4 hours. Take out the peal and grind almonds along with milk and make it paste. 

2.Take plate and apply ½ tsp of ghee to the plate and keep aside.  

3.Take sugar in a pan, add water till sugar is immersed. Prepare sugar syrup with on string consistency.  

4.Add grounded  almond paste and cardamom powder to the sugary syrup and mix well.  

5.Keep adding ghee little by little , so that almond burphy will not get slicked to the pan.  

6.Almond with sugar syrup will get cooked well and thickens.  

7.Transfer to a ghee applied plate and pat well, so that burphy will be uniform in size. Cut into pieces.  

8.Sprinkle chopped almonds on the burphy.  

Tasty Almond burphy is ready.
