Alu Parata

Ingredients: Atta --- 1 glass |
1.Take Atta with enough salt make a dough and keep aside.

2.Boil Alu and grate it with coconut grater, so that we can make fine smooth solid paste with it.
3.Grind green chilis,ginger, coriander leaves and soaked green peas
(If you dont like green peas,you can avoid as well) into coarse paste.
4.Take a pan and 2 tsps of oil, put some cumin seeds and grounded paste, turmeric,
hing, garam masala, cuimn powder,coriander powder and fry till raw smell is gone.
5. Mix boiled potato paste to fried mixture and mix well.

6.Make the paste into small balls and keep aside.

7.Make small balls out of the dough.

8. Make small chapathis from each dough ball.

9.keep one alu ball and cover it from all sides.


10.you can tear out the additional chapathi dough after wrapping the alu ball.

11.From the stuffed alu chapathi ball, make chapathi again very gently.

12.Place the parata on a hot pan and apply little oil both sides and fry well like regular parata.

Very simple, very much filling delicious Alu parata is ready.
You can eat it with raita or plain curd/yougurt.
