Idli

Ingredients: Idli rava--- 4 cups

Procedure:
1.Soak Urad dal and Idli ravva seperately in different
bowls for 2 hours.
2.Grind soaked urad dal into fine past.
3.Wash idli ravva and squeese out all the water and take it
in a vessel. Mix the ravva with grinded urad dal batter.
4.Add a pinch of baking soda (do not add more than a pinch. If
you dont like to add as well, its fine)and leave the batter
for 5 to 6 hours .
5.Idli batter ferments (expands). Add enough salt
to the batter and mix well.
6. Take idli stand and apply little oil or ghee to every plate, you can also use mini idli plate for small idlis(for kids).
and cook those in idli cooker for 15 minutes.
Hot hot Idlis are ready.Eat with peanut chutney or coconut chutney and sambar.
