Parata (Wheat Parata)

Ingredients:

 

Atta ---- 2 cups

Curd / Yogurt --- 2 Tsp

Oil ---4 Tsp

Salt ---For taste

 

 

Procedure:

1.In a bowl mix atta, salt, curd together. Sprinkle little by little water and prepare Chapathi batter.

2.Add 2 Tsp of oil to the batter and cover with a lid for 3o minutes.

 

 

3.Make small balls out of the batter

4.Roll the ball with chapathi stick and prepare circular chapathis.

5.pread 1 tsp of oil or ghee on the chapathi.

6.Fold the chapathi little wide at one end.

7.Fold backwards.

8.Means, one fold forward and other fold backwards. Like that fold all the chapathi.

 9.Later make a circle with the folded chapthi.

10.Now roll this cicle like a chapathi.

11.Place the prepared chapathi on a hot pan carefully.

12.Once you notice small bubbles on the chapathi, flip the chapathi so that other side of chapathi can get cooked.

13.Spread 1 tsp of oil on the chapathi.

14.Flip again to other side and spread 1 tsp of oil/ghee and let it heat for 10 seconds

Tasty Parata is ready. Eat along with any curry.

Note:  You can use All purpose flour too instead of wheat flour.
