Ragi Roti

 
Ingredients:

Ragi flour ---- 2 cups

Rice flour----1/2 cup

Cumin seeds ---1 tsp

Asafoetida ----- Pinch

Salt---- for taste

Curry leaves ----2 strings

Green chillis ---3 to 4

Onion---1

Procedure:

1.Cut onions and green chillis into long pieces.

2.Take ragi flour in a vessel. 

3.Add rice flour to it and mix well.

4.Mix salt, asafoetida and cumin seeds.

 

5.Add water little by little and mix like a tight batter.

 

6.Add chopped onions, green chillis and curry leaves. Mix well.

 

7.Now the batter is ready for roti.

8.Take a pan and apply little oil to it.

9.Take a ball of ragi batter  and pat it to make a circular roti on the pan.

10.Put the pan on the flame carefully and  spary little oil on it.

11.Cover roti with a lid wait it get cooked.

12.Flip the roti to cook the other side as well.

13.On the roti is well cooked, transfer to a plate.

Delicious Ragi roti is ready. Eat along with Onion/red chilli chutney and enjoy the taste.

Note: You should cover the roti with a lid, while cooking. Otherwise, it get dried up so easily.
