Palak Puri (Spinach Puri)

 

Ingredients:

Atta --- 1 glass
Palakleaves --- 1/2 bunch (Spinach)
Green chillis --- 3
Ginger --- 1/2 inch
Cumin seeds --- 1/4 tsp
Turmeric --- Pinch
Salt --- enough
Asafoetida(hing)  ---Pinch
Oil --- 2 tsp

Procedure:

1.Chop spinach leaves as small pieces as you can.
2.Grind ginger, green chillis and cumin seeds into fine paste.
3.In a bowl, take atta, 2tsp of oil and chopped palak leaves, asafoetida, turmeric, grounded chilli-ginger paste and mix well.
4.With water mix the dough well and prepare puri-dough.
5.Make small balls with the dough and make puris.
6.In a pan, take  oil  and heat it. Fry one puri by another and prepare methi puris. 

Spinach puri / Palak puris are ready to eat. Eat with plain curd or yogurt.
