Tomato Rice

Ingredients: Basmathi rice --- 2 cups |
Procedure:
1. Cleanly wash the basmathi rice. Cook along with 1 Tsp of oil and keep it aside.
2. In a pan, take oil and ghee together and heat it.
3. Put cinnamon,cardamom,cloves,bay leaves and javetri and these fry them well.
4. Add chopped onions and fry for a while.
5. Add ginger garlic paste and fry well.
6. Add chopped mint and cilantro leaves and fry for a while.
7. Add chopped tomatos and cook them untill the tomato juice evaporates and the looks like curry.
8. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and little garam masala powder and enough salt.
9. Add the cooked mixture to the cooked rice and mix well.
10. Garnish with cilantro leaves.

Delicious Tomato rice is ready. Eat along with raita.
